Another spacy track - but surely not so "dark" arranged as the last post - i present today: "Gefahr" (Danger) by Christian Bruhn. On the 9th of december 2008 i already posted the german title-track of the cartoon-series "Captain Future"(please click on the link for more informations), this is another part of the Soundtrack "Captain Future". The work of Bruhn is amazing!
Heute gibts was aus dem Fernsehen. Die Serie Unter der Sonne Kaliforniens(englischer Titel Knots landing), war ein Ableger der äußerst erfolgreichen SoapDallasund wurde von 1979 bis 1993 produziert. Oft wird die Serie als Mutter der heute erfolgreichen Serie Desperate Housewives gehandelt, spielen beide doch in eigentlich langweiligen und spießigen Vororten amerikanischer Städte. Intrigen, Sex, Leidenschaft, Geld - na alles was eine Soap so braucht war Gegenstand des Plots. Übrigens hatte Halle Berry einer ihrer ersten Rollen in der Serie!
Die dazugehörige Musik wurde von Jerrold Immel, der bereits schon für Dallas die Melodie spendierte, geschrieben. Hier kommt nun eine Version vom The Frank Barber Orchestra, erschienen als Single im Jahre 1980. Knots landing befand sich auf der B-Seite, Dallas auf der A-Seite. Flott eingespielt kann ich nur sagen.
Today i present the melody of Knots landing (the german titel was Unter der Sonne Kaliforniens - translated into english: Under the sun of California). It was a spin-off of the succesful soap-opera Dallas and produced between 1979 and 1993. Sometimes the soap is discussed as the role-model of Desperate Housewives, cause the Plot is also playing in a boring street in an american suburb. But behind the Doors there is sex, greed, manipulation - everything a good soap is made of. By the way, Halle Berry had one of her first jobs on TV in Knots landing!
The Music was written byJerrold Immel, the one who also wrote the melody of "Dallas". Here we hear a version of The Frank Barber Orchestra, published in 1980 as 7"inch Single. Knots Landing was the B-Side, Dallas the A-side.
