Und wo ich "Spiel mir das Lied vom Tod" im Post zuvor schon erwähnt habe, hier noch eine verklärt-romantische, hinreisend kitschige Disco-Interpretation des Ennio Morricone Soundtracks. Eigespielt in Kanada vom hier schon mal präsentierten "Black Light Orchestra". Erschienen ist das Ganze 1977 auf der "LP Once upon a time in the West" unter dem Namen "Morricone / A Man and his Harmonica - Once upon a time in the West".

Regarding to the movie "Once Upon a Time in the West", here is now an interesting disco-version of Ennio Morricone's original soundtrack. Made in Canada in 1977 of the "Black Light Orchestra", published on the "LP Once upon a time in the West" under the name "Morricone / A Man and his Harmonica - Once upon a time in the West".

Mission to Lyra - Space Disco Project

Spacedisco steht heute auf dem Programm:

"Mission to Lyra" vom "Space Disco Project", erschienen 1978 auf der LP "Disco from another Galaxy". Vielleicht ist der Sound weniger spacig als anrührend, malen die Arrangements doch ein sehr romantisches Bild des Discouniversums. Wer diesen Song gut findet, sollte auch mal meinen Post des "Black Light Orchestras" anhören, das klingt sehr ähnlich weil die selben Produzenten (Dominic Sciscente und Michel Daigle) am Werke waren, wenn auch die "space"- elemente dort fehlen.

"Mission to Lyra" of the "Space Disco Project", released in 1978 on the LP "Disco from another Galaxy". Maybe the sound is not so spacy the name is promising, anywhere, the arrangements are painting a wonderful and sweet picture of a discouniverse. If you like the song just look after my post of the "Black Light Orchestra", that's very similar. Only the "spacy" elements are missing. Space Project and Black Light orchestra were made by the canadian producers Dominic Sciscente und Michel Daigle...

Let's try once again - Patrick Norman and the Black Light Orchestra

Man stelle sich vor:

Ein Mann von Welt mit männlich rauchigem, aber doch klingendem, cosmopolitischem Tembre in der Stimme, umschwärmt von einem Chor jungfräulich und glockenhell vor sich hin trällender Französinnen und letztlich untermalt von einem satten, vor keinem wolkigen Kitsch zurückschreckendem Orchester - Ja so klingt Let's try once again des Black Light Orchestra, vertont 1977. Es gab den Song übrigens auch instrumental, aber den präsentier ich vielleicht ein ander mal.

A strongfull voice of an elegant, but manly man, backgrounded by a huge group of lovely singing french maids, surrounded by an orchestra which plays every accord such as sweet it's possible - than you hear Let's try once again of Black Light Orchestra, made in 1977. The Song was also published as an instrumental version, maybe i post this one another time...
