YOUR LOVE (ALBUM VERSION) - LIME

Die Maxi "Your Love" erschien 1980, während die LP "Your Love" 1981 folgte. Diesem Erstlingswerk folgten weitere relativ erfolgreiche Platten.

Casted for publicity

The real ones

A relatively late disco-classics is "Your Love" of "Lime". The Persons behind were Denis and Denyse LePage, a married and disco producing couple. The 12" "Your Love" was published in 1980, the LP "Your Love" followed in 1981. This album was their first LP under the name "Lime", a range of other records followed. Because of thinking that they are not attractive enough for the audience, they casted two younger singer (Joy Dorris and Chris Marsh) to promote their project.
Of "Your Love" exists also a good remix made in 1985. i will post it in some days...

A Video i found on YouTube with "Your Love", maybe taken from a movie of these days...

That film is "Summer Lovers" from 1982, with very young Peter Gallagher and Daryl Hannah on it, I watched it in the cinema then!

I loved Lime's first album, full of great-great songs, so much I bought "Lime II" without listening an was disappointed, ended hating "Babe, We're Gonna Love Tonite"...

Very nice new layout in your blog!
