Giorgio Moroder war um 1979 wohl auf der Höhe seiner Schaffenskraft. Weder zuvor noch danach warf er eine derartige Menge wirklich erstklassiger wie erfolgreicher Produktionen auf den Markt wie gegen Ende der 70er. Sein erfolgreichster Trumpf im Ärmel war zweifelsohne Donna Summer, die jedoch im fernen Hollywood zunehmend anstalten machte sich aus Moroders Produktionen zurück zu ziehen.
Vielleicht also eine neue glamouröse Sängerin in Boot hohlen, so dachte vielleicht der erfolgsverwöhnte Produzent. So wurde 1979 schließlich mit der zumindest charismatisch vom Cover blickenden Suzi Lane ein nettes Album fabriziert, das insgesamt jedoch weit weniger überzeugte als die in Zusammenarbeit mit Summer entstandenen Stücke. So blieb es bei einem Album und Suzi Lane verschwand in den weiten des Disconebels...
Giorgio Moroder was around 1979 on the top of his creative power. Not before and not later he was pushing better and not less succesfull productions onto the market. One of a kind in his portfolio was surely the Queen of Disco, Donna Summer, but she was on the way to say goodbye to Giorgio and he was maybe searching for new talents for the future.
So he recorded a LP together with Suzi Lane, an attractive - and at least on the cover charismatic looking - singer. However, the work is not half so fascinating than the recordings with Summer, but to good to forget it completely.
