"Dinorah Dinorah" von George Benson ist wohl der beste Sound für eine gepflegte Penthouseparty in einer heißen Sommernacht. Erschienen ist das Stück in seiner vollen Länge (die Albumversion auf der LP "Give me the night" ist kürzer) nur als B-Seite der 12" Version des Megahits "Give me the night" im Jahre 1980.

Surely "Dinorah Dinorah" of George Benson is the best sound for a cocktailparty in a penthousesuite during the evening. In it's full length it was only published on the B-side of the 12" "Give me the night" megaseller in 1980, a cutted variant you can find also on the LP "Give me the night".

Let's Swing - The Brother Johnson

Dieser Track ist ein echtes ein Meisterwerk. Kurz und knackig, anspruchsvoll instrumentiert und liebevoll arrangiert und letztlich zeitlos klassisch. Die Brother Johnson waren ohnehin ein mit großartigem können ausgestattetes Gespann, und dieser auf der B-Seite ihrer single "Stomp" 1980 veröffentlichte Song stellt dies einmal mehr unter Beweis. Der Titel wurde übrigens nur als B-Seite und auf keinem Album veröffentlicht.

This Track is a masterpiece. The Brother Johnson released the short instrumental title "Let's swing" as B-Side on the famous single "Stomp" in 1980. In my opinion, the qualitiy of this B-Side shows one time more the extraordinary talent of this duo. By the way, Let's Swing was never published on any LP or something...
